Engineered Stone

Engineered stone is a composite material made from rock and resin. Due to its popularity, Engineered Stone has become the modern trend in residential and commercial developments. We work with all products in Engineered Stone including Caesarstone, EssaStone, Quantum Quartz, Qstone and Silestone.

Engineered stone is a man-made product that dates back over 30 years. The main component in engineered stone is quartz which is one of nature’s strongest minerals and therefore a perfect solution for benchtops and flooring which need to be hard-wearing.

Homeowners and architects often fall in love with engineered stone as they achieve a stylish finish that is low maintenance and ultra hygienic.

Porcelain Stone

Porcelain stone has a wide application potential for kitchens, bathrooms furnishings, display fittings, shop fittings, cupboards, work surfaces, wall and floor cladding.

We have extensive experience with porcelain based stone products and our proud to work with the CDK Stone Neolith range, the Artedomus Maximum range and the Dekton range by Cosentino.

Porcelain panels are made entirely from natural materials such as feldspar, quartz, clay and other material with no toxic resins or chemical binders. This cutting edge product has allowed maximum design freedom by using larger yet lighter panels to deliver striking finishes.

Marble and Granite

Granite is a hard rock formed from magma. It is formed when lava erupts then cooled and solidified before it reaches the surface. Granite being one of the hardest rocks, it can be used in any type of area, internally and externally. If used for kitchen benchtops, hot pots from the stove can be put directly on top of the granite and cutting can be done straight on the top without it scratching.

Marble is a softer rock formed from recrystallized carbonate minerals. Marble characteristic swirls and veins are formed from various minerals. They come in many different colours.

.

Travertine is a type of Limestone formed by hot mineral springs. Travertine also has soft swirls and can be cut a different way from the block to show a vien cut through each slab.

Marble & Travertine are both a softer natural stone. It is not recommended for kitchens and bbq tops. This being oils, wines and lemon substances can eat away the sealer faster and mark the top. Honed Marbles are recommended for external areas. Filled & Honed Travertine is recommended for external areas.
